Supply chain workers
Support for the estimated 50-100 workers in Alinta’s supply chain in the Upper Spencer Gulf and Outback region will be modelled on the workers in transition program for the Holden supply chain.
Up to $225,000 has been allocated to help the Alinta supply chain workers with skills recognition, business start- up advice, and other career and employment services.
The South Australian Government, in partnership with Alinta Energy, will support workers by:
- providing dedicated career advisors who will support them to develop resumes, job applications and tailored career plans
- identifying training providers that can support them to undertake the training identified in their career plans
- providing funds to assist in the training identified in the individual’s career plan.
